In Sunday Songs by the iOs

We’ve been following the iOs for years now. What was clear when they first came onto our radar was that they were skilled writers of delicate pop songs with an indie edge. And they still are. Their new full-length debut from Kanine Records, In Sunday Songs, shows that their skills have only ripened with time. The harmonies of vocalists Chris Punsalan and Autumn Proemm have always represented the driving dynamic force of the iOs’ songs, and the duo have only grown more adept at achieving that perfect balance of straight-ahead verse-chorus-verse delivery and ethereal swirling. The album also features some of the best production and playing we’ve ever heard from the group from old iOs standard “Come True” to new favorites like “Every Waking Moment.”

The group celebrates the release of In Sunday Songs with an appearance at Tiswas, taking place at the Annex, located at 152 Orchard Street on the Lower East Side.
