American Laundromat Records has been putting together a Pixies tribute album called Dig For Fire. Among the artists contributing to the project is New York’s own Morning Theft. You can hear their version of “Ana” (from Bossanova) at the Pixies Tribute MySpace page.

Lots of good stuff going on this week, including Make Music New York on Thursday which will feature loads of bands playing outside all over the city and our latest installment of the Hot Rocks Party on Saturday at The Delancey, featuring four great bands along with 50s and 60s party music.
