MTV Featuring Local Music

So, yeah, we know there’s been this whole discussion already about Band In The Bubble and Cartel, the band featured on the MTV reality show. But whether you actually like Cartel or the show in general, there’s no denying that the music supervisors for the show have pretty damn good taste in music. As Ear Farm points out, there’s a slew of great bands featured as background music on the show… and many of them are local favorites: Mancino, The Bosch, The Subjects, Up The Empire, and The Attorneys have already been featured on the first two episodes. And we hear that you can probably expect a couple of other familiar locals on upcoming episodes.
