Live This Week: July 2-8
The week gets off to a great start tonight with A Place To Bury Strangers playing at The Gramercy Theater. Then, after everyone’s had their fill of fireworks and BBQ (is it even possible to get one’s fill of BBQ?), might as well move into Park Slope’s Union Hall for the weekend. We’ll be spending so much time there we might as well set up a cot or bring a sleeping bag. First, Neon Lights presents a Friday/Saturday two night stand of great indie rock, including the live debut of Botany Bay, a side project for a couple of members of The Secret Life Of Sofia, along with other great locals such as El Jezel, Mancino, and Via Audio. We’ll be there. And we’ll be back Sunday night for Alina Simone, formerly of Emma La Reina.
