Photos: Gold Streets at Union Hall

Gold Streets is a a band we’ve seen and heard many times now. And on Friday, at Brooklyn’s Union Hall, they were especially in top form. There was something about the sound at the venue that night that particularly showcased their rather broad, impressive dynamic range — just as capable of playing hard and forceful as laid back and delicate. Gold Streets is playing three shows in Austin this week, including one official SXSW showcase. They’ll be playing again in NY in April, as well as premiering a new music video. Check out their MySpace for details.
