We were happy to have one of our favorite bands, El Jezel, play at the most recent Hot Rocks Party. They’re a band comfortable mixing newer and older material into their sets, so it’s always interesting to hear the way the songs contrast and compliment each other in different combinations and contexts. As we’ve said previously, we’re really looking forward to their second full-length album, which they’ll thankfully be unleashing soon.
