The Deli Magazine Issue #7 Out Now

The Deli Magazine Issue 7

For those who may not already know, we here at SANYC have a special relationship with The Deli Magazine. We contribute the vast majority of the writing that becomes the “Appetizers - Brief News From NYC Bands” section of the print edition, and we also contribute reviews and other articles from time to time.

Well, the seventh issue of the magazine is out now, available for free at various locations all around the city. Or for a cheap $5 subscription price, you can have four quarterly issues delivered directly to your mailbox.

If you’re interested in the bands we discuss here on this site, the magazine is really right up your alley. Here’s a list of some of our favorite bands that are mentioned or featured in the current issue:

A Place To Bury Strangers (interview), The Art Of Shooting, Asobi Seksu (feature), The Big Sleep, Bling Kong, El Jezel, The Fatales (interview), The Hong Kong, the iOs (interview), Man In Gray, Morningwood, Oxford Collapse, The Secret Life Of Sofia, Up The Empire
