CMJ Wrap-Up: The Art Of Shooting // with photos

This past Saturday, StereoactiveNYC had it’s second official CMJ Music Marathon showcase. The show doubled as our five year anniversary celebration and featured some of our very favorite bands currently playing in NYC and Brooklyn. The night was a big success — thanks so much to everyone who came out to celebrate with us and support the bands that played.

One of the bands that played was The Art Of Shooting. They’re a band we’ve been following for years now and we’ve seen them go through a number of changes during that time. The current line-up is probably the strongest they’ve featured yet, and they didn’t so much take the stage as storm it, playing and singing the hell out of every note with an energy and command few bands are capable of.

The Secret Life Of Sofia Going On Tour

The Secret Life Of Sofia, whose Seven Summits album we recently wrote about, is going on a week-long tour that will take them through Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
