For those who may not already know, we here at SANYC have a special relationship with The Deli Magazine. We contribute the vast majority of the writing that becomes the “Appetizers - Brief News From NYC Bands” section of the print edition, and we also contribute reviews and other articles from time to time.

Two of our favorite bands, Asobi Seksu and Oxford Collapse, have been nominated to become The Deli Magazine’s next “Band Of The Month.” Head over here to vote.

According to their website, Oxford Collapse, who recently signed to Sub Pop, will soon be entering the studio to begin work on their next full-length album, tentatively scheduled for an October 24th release. The band is also beginning to plan their next tour, with hopes of traveling across the country and, possibly, to Europe.
