Dale and Tim (bassist and drummer, respectively) were one of the tightest rhythm sections we knew when they were playing with Mistakes — and entirely entertaining to watch. And they still are. The guys are now playing as part of a four piece inde-pop outfit called The Five Cents. We checked them out last week at Public Assembly in Brooklyn and enjoyed what we heard very much. Here are some photos we took during their set, with more available on Flickr:
The Five Cents are playing at Death By Audio on April 9th and Cake Shop on April 20th, so take a listen on their MySpace page and go see them soon.
